“ summary top tier service, wellcooked but inconsistently seasoned food. We stopped by for an early dinner after seeing a model train installation nearby a very fun excursion. I picked out Urban Plates as a place that had healthy, kidfriendly food that looked good nearby. Walking in, my partner and I were immediately impressed by the ambience, the menu, and the chipper attitude of the staff member manning the order station. We ordered garlic shrimp, salmon for our one year old, and half sandwich and soup, all for about 60 after tax, which is very reasonable considering the sides that come with the plates. We found very comfortable seats and the food came out fairly fast. Everything was perfectly cooked, especially the shrimp, but the salmon and mac and cheese were under seasoned. The tomato basil soup was excellent and the sandwich was a perfectly respectable BLT, but the bread that came with the soup was not toasty and crispy the way it should be. It seemed like it had been lightly grilled and cooled to room temperature, but the result was not much better than picking out a slice of white bread from a supermarket loaf. It did not ruin the experience of the soup and sandwich, but it was a disappointing part of an otherwise bright meal. Overall, we quite enjoyed our experience. Not one, not two, but all three staff members we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and brightened our day. If I could rate service higher than perfect I would. Our server Manuel in particular was lovely and very accommodating of our one year old. We got cookies on the way out for writing a review, and I can report the cookies are excellent as well! ”

Thank you for the amazing service and being attentive to our needs we had 2 kids with us , we will definitely come again thanks to his customer service and food of course. ”
“ Genuinely loved everything about the ambiance and the relaxed atmosphere, I would consider it elevated casual dining. Not fast food and not fast casual, even though when we went around 430pm the food came out quickly! The food was very delicious. Moderate sized portions. Everything tasted fresh, well seasoned so additional sauces or seasons were not nessesary. My mom and I split the surf and turf with 4 sides. We planned to split cold stone after so could have gotten another side or protein if not planned room for dessert. This area used to lack good food but this place and Jacks have really brought up this area for me to want to travel more to. ”
